Artists Statement
I like to paint landscapes, seascapes, animals or flowers, whatever strikes me to pass on to others with the
hope they see the same beauty as I do.
I'm very relaxed when I paint, it puts me in another world and lets me escape from everyday
life. I hope others
may see the the beauty I see in simple, every day scenes, such as a lone row boat on a tidal flat or part of a birch
tree backed by the colors of Autumn, or horses running in freedom.
Each painting strikes me in a certain way and when I see it through my camera's eye or in my mind I know I have
to paint it to freeze the moment. |
