I express myself through art by painting the things that are beautiful and precious to me. Mostly flowers and
children. I find light and shadow exciting. The artist sees things that go unnoticed by many. When you learn to
draw your eye is awakened to the lovely language of forms and one learns to express themselves in that language.
"Play is a necessary ingredient in art because there is a kind of wonder that goes on when you play.
YOu're directing your activity towards a conclusion that isn't prescribed by a potential method" - Richard
Serra
I believe we have a responsibility to develop the talents we have been given. To continue to grow and develop
as we grow older makes life an exciting adventure.
