Betty Kupke Wagner Porcelain Jewelry w/Accents of glass & metal
I find myself drawn to clay as an art medium for its tactile qualities and as an excellent means of expressing my love of nature, design, and color. My foremost guiding philosophy in working with clay (which comes from the earth) is that it is alive. The more spontaneously it is handled the more effective the piece. For twenty years I formed hand-built aesthetic and organic vessels and jewelry of porcelain. Each piece is one of a kind. I now make mostly porcelain jewelry w/accents of glass and metal, a method of my own.
